Milford State Park is a diverse 1,804-acre lake located on the southeast end of the 15,700 surface-acre Milford Lake. The park is a multipurpose recreation area that provides services to campers, boaters, fishermen, hunters, water enthusiasts, wildlife viewers, picnickers, and trail goers. The park features eight campgrounds with 60 sites offering three utilities, 91 sites offering two utilities, and the remaining 103 sites are primitive.
Milford Wildlife Area also provides thousands of acres for hunting various game species and wildlife viewing by hikers and other area users.

The Milford State Park splash park has 4 dumping water buckets, several interactive wildlife/plant spray features, multiple picnic areas, and a great view of Milford Lake. Nearby boat ramp access, sandy beaches, and a playground make it a great stop for the whole family.
This hatchery is one of only a few warm waters and intensive-culture facilities in the Midwest. Fish are raised in concrete raceways, and the Milford Hatchery also has six one-acre, plastic-lined ponds.

You’ll need to purchase a Vehicle Permit for daily visits or have a valid State Park Passport.
A Camping permit is required for overnight stays. 14-Day, Seasonal, and Annual Camping Passes are also available online as well as at the State Park Offices.

Are dogs allowed at Milford State Park?
Yes, all pets must always be restrained by a camper, cage, hand-held leash, or tethered chain no longer than 10 feet. They are not allowed on swimming beaches or swimming areas that are delineated by buoys or other markers or in public buildings or structures. Dogs participating in authorized activities or assisting the visually or hearing impaired are not subject to these restrictions.
