Welcome to the city with the highest elevation in Kansas - Kanorado! The city is right along the Kansas-Colorado state line, hence the name Kanorado. The town is in Sherman County, making it a part of the mountain time zone. Kanorado is also quite small with only about 150 residents in total. But don't let the small size fool you, this city on the "high plains" isn't far from the highest point in the State - Mount Sunflower, which reaches an elevation of over 4,000 feet above sea level!
