Hillsboro is a largely Mennonite community with a thriving downtown area and Tabor College, which is an accredited 4 year private liberal arts college. With an extensive collection of Mennonite history, cultural heritage, and regular events, Hillsboro truly offers visitors with so much to see and do. You also can't visit Hillsboro without checking out the Mennonite Adobe House Museum, a seven room adobe house built in 1876 with pioneer artifacts and replica of an 1876 Friesen Dutch mill.
