Things to do in Clearwater, Kansas

Clearwater is a community located in Sedgwick County just 20 miles south of Wichita. The town received its name after the Ninnescah River's "Clear Water," which the town was built upon. You'll find many Chisholm Trail-themed attractions while visiting, as the town was once a prominent stop for cattle traders. Some of these sites include the Chisholm Trail Lodge Bed & Breakfast and the Chisholm Ridge Fishing Ponds. You can also learn all about the old cow town history at the Clearwater Historical Museum.
