Basehor is a city in Leavenworth County in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area at the intersection of US-73 and US-40.
Basehor is a fast-growing small town. There are new attractions and things to do coming into and near Basehor every year! The city's small-town charm is felt at the local City Park and Farmer and Craft Market. Even though the town is urbanizing, its local agriculture remains a key tourist attraction. Enjoy picking flowers at Jons Family Farms or tasting wine at the Holy-Field Vineyard & Winery! Both locations are part of the Kansas registered agritourism program.
Basehor is close to Kansas City, KS, just a few miles west of the Kansas Speedway, Sporting KC at Children's Mercy Park, and the Azura Amphitheater. Be it close to the metro's nightlife or the quiet farms just outside town; you'll be sure to find something to fit your needs!
The Falcon Lakes Golf Course on the northeast edge of town is also great for outdoor recreation!
