Visit Kansas City, Kansas, and catch one of the races at Kansas Speedway or a Sporting KC match at Children's Mercy Park. The KC area also has some amazing museums located in Overland Park, which is the largest city on the Kansas side of the Metro. The art museums like the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art and the Museum at Prairiefire are just a few.  You will also find amazing parks and shopping centers in Shawnee and Lenexa.  If you happen to find yourself in the nearby community of Olathe, then be sure to stop by iconic attractions like the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm Historic Site.
